Dreaming of Naples

The world renown piano player and composer Rolando Nicolosi was born to Italian parents in Rosario de Santa Fe’, Argentina and he lives and works in Rome since the early fifties. Although he holds a Degree in Literature and Philosophy, he has pursued a carrier as a musician since his early childhood’s appearances at the Colon theatre in Buenos Aires.
He came to Italy in his teens and became a student of famed Maestro Carlo Zecchi.
His fame grew rapidly all over the world and he plaid with the greatest music conductors the likes of Antal Donati, Thomas Shipeprs, Zubin Metha, Georges Pretre, Carlo Maria Giulini, Tullio Serafin, Gianandrea Gavazzeni and many others. (read more)
