All events

For the whole of the duration of Expo (1 May – 31 October) there will be numerous activities in the Italian Pavilion which will contribute to illustrate the philosophy behind our participation in the exhibition.

The agenda of events which will take place, not only in our pavilion but also in other areas inside the Exhibition Park and generally in the city of Shanghai, will be published in 2010.

Uto Ughi

Uto Ughi, considered one of the best violinists alive, will be accompanied on piano by Alessandro Specchi.

Uto Ughi is considered one of the best living violinist. The valuable instruments that the maestro will use to captivate the Chinese public are Italian too. A violin from the “Guarnirei del Gesù” factory from 1744 and a lovely Stradivari from 1701 known as “Kreutzer” due to the fact that it belonged to the famous musician to whom Beethoven dedicated the homonymous sonata.
