LOOK AND STYLE IN THE PAVILION

The welcome staff will be wearing uniforms especially designed by Prada.

The uniforms have been created using faille and poplin stretch fabrics and combining bright colors - such as fuchsia, white, and steel gray - to convey a highly recognizable, modern and elegant look. The staff will carry the Prada’s unisex briefcase shoulder bags known as “piattine”, a classical style made of iron-grey “vela” fabric.

The joy of living

An open area to meet, interact, socialize and enjoy the Italian way of life.
• A courtyard will host many events, such as fashion shows, musical and dance performances, as well as activities for children
An orchestra on the wall complete with real music instruments, with screens under showing videos of performances by La Scala Orchestra from Milan
Full-wall mosaic of a painting by Giorgio de Chirico called ‘The Enigma of a Day’. De Chirico is best known for the paintings he produced between 1909 and 1919, his metaphysical period. At the start of this period, his subjects were still cityscapes inspired by the bright daylight of Mediterranean cities.
• Replica of Brunelleschi’s dome of the cathedral of Florence will be placed over the escalator. This 15th century dome typifies the Florence skyline and is still the largest masonry dome in the world. Sections will be left incomplete to show its ingenious internal structure.
Dresses designed by Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Prada and Zegna specially created and inspired by the ‘Joy of Living’ to bring forth the concept of the Italian way of life. Four oversized mannequins (3.5 meters tall) will be complemented by the dozens of life-sized models that will decorate the walls.
